Exercise Class Descriptions
(All classes are 45 minutes unless otherwise stated)
Beginner Level Classes:
Balance Basics – Is balance a concern for you? This class addresses the need for
stronger muscles, increased flexibility, and a solid core to reduce the
risk of falls. Improve your posture and balance, and take charge of your
Chair Yoga – This is a great class for people who have a hard time getting up
and down off the floor. The poses are modified so that they can be performed
while seated in a chair. People who cannot stand or have limited mobility
can now enjoy the benefits of yoga.
Gentle A.M. Yoga – Gentle yoga will meet you where you are. It is a slower paced
practice suitable for all levels, including those with injuries, physical
limitations and/or chronic health conditions. Props may be used to help
align and support the body. Breathing in sync with movement keeps organs
healthy and joints lubricated. Stretch - breathe – balance with
Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention – This evidence-based practice using the Sun style of
tai chi, improves flexibility, muscle strength, increases heart/lung activity,
aligns posture, improves balance, and integrates the mind and body.
Yoga Ease – Ease into your evening with deep stretches, focused balancing
poses, followed with a relaxing meditation. Let go of the day’s
stress and renew, restore, & relax with this 45-minute class suitable
for most levels.
Intermediate Level Classes:
SilverSneakers® Circuit – Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular
endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper-body strength work
with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a SilverSneakers
ball is alternated with low-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is used
for standing support, stretching and relaxation exercises.
Up FIT–This low impact 30-minute interval training class is easy to follow
and combines functional strength training with cardiovascular endurance
to burn calories & build you up without wearing your joints down!
Yoga Align – This class compliments your body by utilizing proper muscles to
prevent injury through alignment poses. Challenge yourself and build confidence
in your practice as you gain mobility, stability and strength. Perfect
for any level as modifications are offered.
Advanced Level Classes:
Metabolic Blast – In this 20-minute class, you can reset your metabolism by utilizing
functional, full body movement to torch calories, balance hormones, and
de-stress your day. Every move is modifiable for your fitness level and
with one rule, “work till you can’t, rest till you can”
you will push yourself to YOUR level.
Body Burn – This class utilizes various methods to sculpt your body, including
circuit training. Learn to use a variety of exercise tools such as, free
weights, body bars, stability balls, resistance bands and body weight.
You’ll keep your body guessing by varying the intensity of your workout.
Zumba® – Try this exciting class with Latin rhythms and easy to follow
moves to create a dynamic fitness class. An exhilarating 45 minutes of
calorie-burning, body-energizing, awe-inspiring movements!
STRONG™ by Zumba® – This class combines high intensity interval training (HIIT) with
the science of synced music motivation. In every class, music and moves
sync perfectly to push you beyond your perceived limits to reach your
fitness goals faster.

FEE BASED SERVICES
Personal Training/Small Group Training – When you hire a trainer, you take a step towards better health
through fitness. Your Trainer will take you through your personally designed
program, providing you with motivation, information and the support you
need to reach your goals. Learn more about

Private Swim Lessons – Education and training by an experienced instructor to help infants
(age 6 mo. +) up to adults gain swimming skills. Sessions are 30 minutes
in length and may include up 3 participants.
