About Dr. Lee: After graduating from St Louis University’s school of medicine Dr.
Robert H. Lee served as a medical officer in the Navy with tours of duty
on the USS Texas and at the Oceana Naval Air Station. He then completed
his residency in Family Practice at the Geisinger Medical Center after
which he moved with his family to North Carolina to begin private practice.
Dr. Lee established Unifour Family Practice in 1995 and has enjoyed working
there ever since.
Dr. Lee and his wife have five adult children and are blessed with many
grandchildren. Now that they are empty nesters they are exploring their
interest in travel and love being outdoors, especially hiking, kayaking
and cycling.
Honoring Christ in all we say and do is a fundamental tenet in Dr. Lee’s
life and work. He is active in his small group fellowship, participating
in mission trips, and regularly attends Corinth Reformed Church.
Dr. Lee is particularly interested in treating type I and type 2 diabetes,
cholesterol management, hypertension care, and medical management of obesity.
Dr. Lee takes a slightly different approach to anxiety and depression
by not only prescribing medication based on the type of neurotransmitter
that needs to be augmented but he also looks for any spiritual roots of
the illness.
Dr. Lee values wellness and prevention, and regularly screens patients
to make sure all their vaccines, cancer screening and wellness exams are current.
