Yancey McCoury, MD

Yancey McCoury is a board-certified physician assistant with experience in cardiology, critical care, and preventive care. She is passionate about helping patients improve their heart health through education, evidence-based treatment, and compassionate, patient-centered care.

Yancey has experience caring for patients with heart failure, arrhythmias, coronary artery disease, hypertension, and high cholesterol. She works closely with multidisciplinary care teams to coordinate comprehensive care and support patients throughout their healthcare journey.

She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from New York Institute of Technology and her Bachelor of Science in Clinical Research from University of North Carolina Wilmington. Yancey is certified by the NCCPA and maintains current BLS and ACLS certifications.
