Dr. Warren Andrew Chang is a Board-Certified Internal Medicine physician licensed to practice in Virginia and North Carolina.He completed his undergraduate studies in Science at St.Joseph's College in the idyllic town of Coonoor situated high up in the beautiful mountains in Southern India. In 1991, he graduated from Kasturba Medical College , Manipal - India.
Life throws curve balls at times and after completing medical school, he ended up looking after the family business for 10 years before realizing his true calling and returned to pursue medicine. This has been the biggest lesson learnt in persistence because if you want something in life and keep at it, it will bear fruit.
It was a hard road but ended in successfully completing an Internal Medicine residency at ETSU in Johnson city TN. He then worked as an internist in Abingdon and loved the patient interaction every single day. He then moved to Hickory in 2016 starting at Catawba Valley Hospital and has continued to enjoy the same.
His belief is simple, " If you wake up in the morning grumbling about having to go into work that day, it's time to find something different to do in life."Do LIFE because it makes you happy, not because you have to.
