Prior to completing his residency at North Carolina Baptist Hospital, Dr. Sigmon completed his medical degree at the University of North Carolina. He also completed an internship at North Carolina Baptist Hospital.
Dr. Sigmon currently serves as the Catawba Valley Health System Chairman of Cancer Committee and Section Head of the Radiation Oncology Radiation Safety Committee. He also serves as the Frye Regional Medical Center Medical Director of Radiation Oncology and the IRB Committee.
He is a member of the American Society for Radiation Oncology, North Carolina Medical Society and Catawba Country Medical Society.
Dr. Sigmon is a native of Hickory and has served our community for more than 20 years. He lives in Hickory with his wife, Lisa, and his two (nearly grown) sons, Forrest and Bryce.
