Ralph Oursler, MD

R.E. “Trey” Oursler, MD is an ophthalmologist specializing in vision correction surgery, including iLASIK, PRK, implantable contact lenses (ICL), and presbyopia-correcting lens replacement surgery. He also provides comprehensive cataract care and advanced refractive surgical services.

Dr. Oursler completed his medical education at Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University, followed by an internship at Virginia Mason Hospital, a residency at Wills Eye Hospital, and a fellowship at Barnet-Dulaney Eye Center.

Board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. Oursler is affiliated with Catawba Valley Medical Center and is an active member of multiple professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, North Carolina Medical Society & Foundation, Catawba County Medical Society, North Carolina Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, and the International Stereotactic Radiosurgery Society.
