About Me

Patrick Kelty, MD
Dr. Patrick J. Kelty specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the retina and vitreous, including diabetic eye disease, age-related macular degeneration, retinal detachment, retinal blood vessel problems, intraocular tumors, macular holes, and epiretinal membranes. He also diagnoses and treats cataracts, performing small incision traditional cataract surgery, laser refractive cataract surgery (which decreases the need for glasses and eliminates astigmatism), and complex cataract surgeries requiring additional specialized procedures. Additionally, he repairs or exchanges intraocular lenses due to complications from cataract surgery, spontaneous dislocation of intraocular lenses, and trauma-related lens dislocations.

He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American College of Surgeons Professional Association, and American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.
