Dr. Broadway is a North Carolina native and proud of her roots. She attended UNC Chapel Hill where she obtained her Bachelor of Science from the Gillings School of Public Health with concentration in Nutrition. She attended medical school at the Brody School of Medicine at ECU and went on to complete Ob/Gyn residency at East Tennessee State University where she was inducted into the Gold Humanism society. She is excited to be joining A Woman’s View this summer.
“I chose the field of obstetrics and gynecology in part because women are at a critical point in their lives when they present for care. I am so rewarded in empowering my patients to help make decisions to improve their health and achieve better outcomes. I enjoy everything from contraceptive counseling to delivering babies to surgical management of the pelvis. We have such a wide variety of care to offer.”
Outside of women’s health, Dr. Broadway enjoys spending time with her husband and high school sweetheart Sam, keeping up with their energetic toddler Lewis, boating on Lake James, eating Mexican food, and watching Disney movies and cop dramas.
