Murthy Madduri, MD
Dr. Murthy Madduri is a seasoned internist and hospitalist with over three decades of clinical and administrative experience in both acute and post-acute care settings. He completed his medical degree at NTR University in 1989 and went on to finish his Internal Medicine residency at Pennsylvania Hospital, PA, in 1994. Dr. Madduri began his medical career as an internist at the VA Medical Center in Knoxville, Iowa, from 1994 to 1996. He then served as a Hospitalist Attending at Hackley Hospital in Muskegon, Michigan, from 1996 to 2000. He founded and directed IMS, PLC, a hospitalist group serving Hackley Hospital and Select Specialty Hospital from 2000 to 2009. During this time, he also held the role of Chief of Medicine at Hackley Hospital from 2005 to 2007. From 2009 to 2014, Dr. Madduri led CIMS, a hospitalist group affiliated with Blue Ridge Hospitals. He subsequently served as Medical Director for Caromont Inpatient Medicine from 2014 to 2016 and as Ortho-Hospitalist and Medical Director of Courtland Terrace Skilled Nursing Facility at Caromont Regional Medical Center from 2016 to 2023. Currently, Dr. Madduri continues his work as a part-time Ortho-Hospitalist at Caromont Regional Medical Center (since 2024) and as a part-time Hospitalist Attending at Catawba Valley Medical Center (since 2021). Dr. Madduri’s interests include reading medical as well as non-medical literature, listening to music of all genres, and traveling.
