About Me

Michael Cameron LeCompte, MD

Dr. Michael LeCompte is a radiation oncologist at Atrium Health’s Levine Cancer Institute, specializing in cutting-edge cancer care and personalized radiation therapy. He is dedicated to guiding patients through their treatment with precision, compassion, and evidence-based care.

Dr. LeCompte earned his M.D. from Wake Forest School of Medicine in 2020. He holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Science from Wake Forest University (2016) and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2014).

He completed a preliminary year in Internal Medicine at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine (2020–2021) and is currently completing his Radiation Oncology Residency at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (2021–2025 projected).
