Mary Britton, MD

Dr. Mary Britton was born in Danville, Illinois. Britton was raised in Ohio, where she stayed through high school and met her husband, Ernest Britton, who is her high school sweetheart. Britton's father was a urologist and her mother was a pediatrician. She also has three older brothers who also work in the medical field

Dr. Britton attended the University of Akron to obtain her undergraduate degree, and then attended Northeastern Ohio University's College of Medicine wheere she received her medical degree. She completed a family practice residency program at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio.

Dr. Britton has served as a family medicine physicial in Hickory and the surrounding area for the past 23 years. "My patients are very important to me and I try to treat them like they are my family. I have extensive experience in urgent care and have also worked in the VA," she said.

In her spare time, she likes to spend time with family and friends. She has two beautiful children and two furry four-legged children, Bear and Teddy. She enjoys the outdoors and outdoor activities like playing tennis, running, walking, hiking and fishing.
