Lauren Giese is a board-certified physician assistant, licensed to practice in North Carolina. She completed her undergraduate studies in Clinical Laboratory Science at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After graduation, she worked as a medical laboratory scientist within the bone marrow laboratory at Duke Hospital for four years before starting her next career. She graduated with honors from Duke University, earning her master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies and worked in primary care with Duke outpatient Internal Medicine for over three years. She enjoys getting to know her patients on a personal level and partnering with them to reach their health goals in a patient-centered and evidence-based approach. She is looking forward to serving her patients with compassionate and individualized care.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and many pets! She enjoys swimming, time outdoors, baking, and gardening.
