Laura Parker, FNP-C

Laura Sigmon Parker is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner licensed to practice in N.C. She completed her undergraduate studies at Eastern Kentucky University where she served as state president of the Baccalaureate Student Nurses Association. Upon graduation she was awarded Outstanding  Nursing Student and named in Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities. She completed her M.S. degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2008, graduating with high honors. She has amassed significant experience and additional training in Palliative Medicine and Medical Ethics. In 2019 she received the Circle of Eminence Advanced Practice Nurse of the Year award for Catawba Valley Medical Center. She volunteers her time on international medical mission trips and is dedicated to providing compassionate care to each patient and family she encounters.
