Kristy is a board-certified Nurse Midwife by the American Midwifery Certification Board and is a member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at Lees-McRae College and then earned her Master of Science in Nursing at Frontier Nursing University in 2020. Before becoming a Midwife, she worked for 9 years as a labor and delivery nurse with NICU experience.
Her ultimate focus is to empower women at each stage of life, especially during pregnancy, labor, and birth. She believes that each birth is special and it is a privilege to be a part of this memorable time.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending her summers lakeside or at the pool with her husband, three children, and their dog Molly.
