Dr. Jermaine Joefield is a Board-Certified Family Medicine physician licensed to practice in North Carolina. She completed her undergraduate studies in Biochemistry at University of West Indies, in her native country of Trinidad. In 2004, she graduated from St. George’s University School of Medicine, Grenada. Having completed all clinical rotations here in USA & yearning for warmer weather, she started residency program in Family Medicine in Spartanburg, SC. Dr. Joefield was voted top Family Medicine resident by her program. For the past fifteen (15) years, Dr. Joefield has worked in underserved communities here in North Carolina promoting women’s health issues, chronic disease management (diabetes, hypertension etc) as well as caring for pediatric & geriatric population needs She looks forward to providing the same compassionate care at the Maiden Clinic.
