George Alyateem, MD

Dr. George Alex Alyateem is a board-eligible general surgeon at Wake Forest Baptist, dedicated to providing expert surgical care for adult patients. He accepts new patients and offers in-person consultations to address a wide range of surgical needs.

Dr. Alyateem earned his medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2017. He completed his internship at New York Medical College in 2018 and went on to finish his residency there as a registrar in 2024. With a strong foundation in adult surgical care, he is committed to combining advanced surgical techniques with compassionate patient-centered care.
