Dorothy Kebaso, MSN, PMHNP-BC

Dorothy Kebaso is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience in mental health care. She began her nursing career in 2013 after earning her Associate Degree in Nursing from Middlesex County College in Edison, New Jersey. She started working in psychiatric nursing immediately and quickly developed a strong foundation in patient-centered mental health care. While continuing her clinical work, Dorothy earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Appalachian State University in 2016. Her passion for advancing mental health services led her to pursue a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Psychiatry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed her graduate studies in May 2020 and earned certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Dorothy is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals facing psychiatric challenges. She values a holistic, team-based approach to treatment and is committed to improving the lives of her patients through empathy, education, and clinical excellence. Outside of work, Dorothy enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering in her local community, and watching basketball.
