A nationally certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Christopher Johnson is a native of Granite Falls, NC. Christopher graduated from Western Carolina University (2013) with a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Medical Care. Later he went on to complete his undergraduate nursing education at Catawba Valley Community College (2018) and Appalachian State University (2019). During his four years as a critical care nurse, Christopher earned the Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Lenoir-Rhyne University (2022) and subsequently earned certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Prior to joining the Catawba Valley Family Medicine group, he has been working for Caldwell UNC Health Care as a Nurse Practitioner with the Hospitalist service. Christopher’s interests include preventative healthcare and family wellness. He lives locally with his wife Jamie and their son. In his free time, he enjoys family time, traveling, and spending time at the beach.
