Dr. Houdek is fellowship trained in sports medicine and has specialty training in joint replacement.
Prior to completing his fellowship at Detroit Medical Center in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Houdek completed his residency at Garden City Hospital and his medical degree at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He also completed an internship at Garden City Hospital.
He is a member of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopaedics, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Michigan Orthopaedic Society, Detroit Academy of Orthopedics, Arthroscopy Association of North America and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.
Dr. Houdek and his wife, Erin, have two children, Collin and Lilyana.
