Charles Frankhouser, MD, MBA serves as Chief Medical Officer at Carolina Caring. Board certified in both Internal Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine, he brings more than a decade of experience in hospice and palliative care along with a strong commitment to patient- and family-centered care.
Dr. Frankhouser joined Carolina Caring in 2020 as a Staff Physician and was later named Chief Medical Officer after serving in the interim role. He has also contributed to research and education at Tufts University School of Medicine. His leadership is marked by a passion for ensuring care that is both clinically excellent and deeply personal.
A graduate of Albright College, Dr. Frankhouser earned his Doctor of Medicine and Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration from Tufts University School of Medicine.
