Dr. Amish Sura is an Interventional Cardiologist specializing in the management of coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease and structural heart procedures. He is committed to delivering advanced, evidence-based cardiovascular care with a patient-centered approach.
He earned his medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed his residency at UPMC. Dr. Sura went on to complete his cardiology fellowship at the University of Maryland Medical Center, followed by specialized training in Interventional Cardiology at Emory University Hospital.
Before returning home to North Carolina, Dr. Sura practiced general and interventional cardiology for many years in Maryland, where he gained extensive experience in complex coronary and structural heart interventions.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Sura enjoys traveling, following sports and spending quality time with his wife, two children, family and friends.
