Adam Benfield, PA-C

Prior to attaining a Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Gardner-Webb University, Adam Benfield earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Western Carolina University where he also played varsity baseball and was on the Dean’s list from 2010 to 2013. Adam has been working at the South Hickory location since 2016 and sees patients ages 18 and above with a preference for older adult/geriatric care and enjoys providing holistic care with a focus on helping to adopt lifestyle changes as a primary means to help combat disease rather than relying solely on medications/drugs to treat chronic conditions.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, two children, and two dogs and enjoys hiking, running, gardening, fishing, and woodworking.
