Volunteering at Catawba Valley Health System

Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer at Catawba Valley Health System (CVHS)! CVHS greatly values its volunteer program and the services it provides.

Following are the requirements for volunteering at CVHS:

  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Commit to a minimum of 60 hours of service per year
  • Undergo a successful criminal background check

How to become an adult volunteer:

  1. Complete a volunteer application
  2. Attend an interview
  3. Complete required TB testing, which is provided free of charge
  4. Submit proof of flu vaccination (if beginning during flu season)
  5. Once approved, attend volunteer orientation
