High School Students

At CVHS, high school students have many opportunities to learn about exciting careers in healthcare through observation experiences and unpaid internships that are required by various high school programs such as Allied Health, Health Career Internships and the North Carolina Graduation Project (Senior Project).

To apply for an educational experience at CVHS:

  1. Contact the health occupations teacher, senior project coordinator or the program coordinator at your high school for approval.
  2. If an EAA is current, go to the Educational Experience Request Form link, and complete the process. Allow up to four (4) weeks to process.

This request form is for individual requests only, not for group requests. Group requests must be coordinated between the school contact person and the Student Program Coordinator at CVMC. If you have any questions, please call 828.326.3576.

These opportunities are for education purposes only. At this time, we cannot accommodate requests that are for personal career exploration.
