HICKORY, NC – June 17, 2015 — Catawba Valley Medical Group (CVMG) announces the addition of
Physician Assistant, Jennifer Kahrl to its staff at Catawba Valley Vascular
Surgery. She joins Christopher Griggs, DO and Lindsay Bools, MD caring
for patients with a comprehensive approach to evaluation, diagnosis and
treatment for a wide range of vascular conditions.
“We welcome Jennifer as she brings years of specialty training and
experience in the field of vascular medicine,” said Brian McGinnis,
CVMG Executive Director. “The practice tailors treatments to the
unique needs of patients using both surgical and minimally invasive treatment
options complemented by an array of other high-quality services provided
by Catawba Valley Medical Center such as the Center for Wound Healing
and Hyperbarics and the Center for Diabetes Control.”
Kahrl is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician
Assistants (NCCPA) and has over a decade of professional experience in
vascular surgery. Prior to moving to the Hickory area, she worked as a
Physician Assistant at Camden-Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, West
Virginia. Kahrl earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Marietta
College in Marietta, Ohio in 1994 and completed the Albany Medical College/Hudson
Valley Physician Assistant Program in 1999. She maintains active affiliations
with the American Academy of Physician Assistants, American Association
of Surgical Physician Assistants and the Society of Vascular Surgeons.
Catawba Valley Vascular Surgery is located at 1899 Tate Blvd SE Suite 2106
in Hickory, with operating hours Monday through Friday from 8:30am to
