HICKORY, NC – June 27, 2014 – Catawba Valley Medical Group (CVMG) announces the addition of
Keith McManus, MD to the practicing physicians at Catawba Valley Family
Medicine – Maiden.
Dr. McManus is a board-certified physician with 28 years experience in
family medicine. After earning a doctorate of medicine from UNC Chapel
Hill in 1984, he has held several teaching roles and is currently an instructor
for the Department of Family Medicine at UNC School of Medicine and UNC
School of Nursing. Having spent thirteen-years serving in military Special
Forces, Dr. McManus is now a disabled veteran with experience serving
in both enlisted and commissioned officer active duty.
“Among my special health care interests, I am a champion for veterans
health care and passionate about Sports Medicine with over 25 years working
with North Carolina high school athletic programs,” said Dr. McManus.
“I will be supporting CVMC Sports Medicine by getting involved with
Maiden High School athletic programs.”
Dr. McManus is now scheduling new patients at
Catawba Valley Family Medicine – Maidenlocated at 137 Island Ford Road, Maiden, NC 28650. Office hours are 8:00
am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday and the office is closed daily for
lunch from 12:30 to 1:30 pm. Patients can call 828.428.2446 to make an
