HICKORY, NC – Sept. 17, 2013 – Catawba Valley Medical Center
(CVMC) recognized Danah Bowman, Medical Laboratory Technician, as the
September 2013 CARE Employee.
Following are remarks offered in nominating Danah: “…one person
has gone above the call of her daily work to help others locate where
lab specimens should go, where patients should be and how supplies and
employees should interact.
“Danah Bowman physically lifted this new laboratory onto her small
frame and held it together for the entire hospital for multiple months
of 12-hour shifts. Her commitment to this lab reflected well on our successful
move to our new and improved facility.” Congratulations, Danah!
