Advancing our Ability to Care for the Community for Generations to Come
Catawba Valley Medical Center is a non-profit, locally controlled community
hospital, making decisions based on what’s right for our community,
not what’s profitable for an out of town or out of state corporation.
CVMC is one of the last independent hospitals in the state and CVMC receives
NO tax support.
Catawba Medical Foundation exists to support the mission of Catawba Valley
Health System - the medical center, primary and specialty care clinics
of our health system and Corporate Health division. While fiscally sound
and self-sufficient in managing day to day operations, CVHS must turn
to the community for assistance and philanthropic support for major building
projects, renovations, equipment and special initiatives to ensure residents
have access to the best resources available when they need it most. We
need to take care of our hospital so it can take care of us. Catawba Medical
Foundation works to keep excellent healthcare close to home.
