Dr. Norcross specializes in hip and knee replacement surgery and has a
special interest in computer-assisted surgery.
After completing his hip and knee surgery fellowship at Corcord Repatriation
Hospital, Dr. Norcross completed his orthopedic surgery residency at The
University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas where he was four
times awarded the OITE Master Academic Certificate of Recognition, an
award for the highest academic score by a resident. He received his medical
degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of
Medicine and completed an internship at University of Texas Medical Branch.
Dr. Norcross has received comprehensive training to perform a variety of
treatment options for arthritis of the hip and knee, including computer-assisted
surgery, minimally invasive surgery, and hip resurfacing.
Dr. Norcross is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons
and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American
Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and the North Carolina Medical Society.
