Dr. Peter Alford has been practicing medicine for over three decades. His
previous experience includes specializing in sleep medicine and working
at Piedmont Health Care as Medical Director of the Intensive Care Unit
and the Respiratory Therapy Department at Iredell Memorial Hospital. He
served as the Medical Director of the Ventilator Weaning Unit at North
Carolina Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC. Dr. Alford earned his
undergraduate degree at Davidson College, followed by his Medical Degree
from the University of Mississippi. Alford performed his residency at
Baylor University Medical Center, where he was named Chief Resident, before
completing his fellowship at the Bowman Gray School of Medicine.
